The Nordic Journal of Surveying and Real Estate Research (NJSR) is an international scholarly Open Access journal focusing on the various perspectives of built environment research. NJSR provides a forum for all studies related to the built environment, including but not limited to: Cadastre and land management, Spatial information management (SIM), Urban and regional planning and development, Real estate management, as well as Construction economics and management.
The journal is published biannually by the Finnish Society of Built Environment Research. NJSR offers:
• Open Access, no APCs (free for both readers and authors)
• Double-blind peer-review with international scholars
• Articles made available online as soon as accepted
The journal invites original research articles and review articles, as well as discussion papers and commentaries, without restrictions on the length of papers. Special Series, including conference proceedings from the field of built environment, are also invited.
NJSR is indexed in the Finnish Publication Forum JUFO (level 1). Publication Forum is a classification of publication channels created to support the quality assessment of academic research. Publication Forum operates under the auspices of the Federation of Finnish Learned Societies. NJSR is included in the journal.fi portal for Finnish scholarly Open Access journals, maintained by the Federation of Finnish Learned Societies.
